It\u2019s a great time to be a Royal at Queens! As a graduate applicant from a country other than the United States, there are a few items that need to be submitted with your application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Contact Graduate Admissions (graduateadmissions@queens.edu<\/a>, 704-337-2850) for more information.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Submit standardized English Proficiency Test Scores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Students have the option of submitting TOEFL<\/a>, IELTS<\/a>, ELS<\/a> Language Center\u2019s English for Academic Purposes program to meet the testing requirement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Minimum scores to meet our English proficiency standards are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Applicants who completed their undergraduate degree from an international college or university must submit a course-by-course evaluation of their transcript from a certified translating service, such as World Education Services<\/a> (WES), IEE<\/a>, or The Evaluation Company<\/a> (TEC), or other members of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services<\/a> (NACES).<\/p>\n\n\n\n International students must submit financial documentation indicating the amount of funds available for their education in the United States. Acceptable documents include a copy of a bank account statement that clearly indicates the account balance and type of currency, or an official letter from the bank that is less than six months old.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Documents not in English must be accompanied by a certified English translation. Accounts not in the student\u2019s name must be accompanied by a signed Affidavit of Support<\/a> from the account holder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Full acceptance into the university is required before an I-20 may be issued. International graduate students must be enrolled in at least six credits in order to be eligible for an F-1 student visa<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Only one (1) online course can count towards full-time enrollment per term to meet the F-1 visa requirements. F-1 visas<\/a> are required for international students attending in-person residencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n International students should have all documents submitted for their visa by the priority deadlines – August 1, December 1, and April 15.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n1.
