{"id":212,"date":"2023-10-02T18:16:45","date_gmt":"2023-10-02T22:16:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.queens.edu\/health\/?page_id=212"},"modified":"2026-04-01T15:31:29","modified_gmt":"2026-04-01T19:31:29","slug":"fitness-testing-program","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.queens.edu\/health\/fitness-testing-program\/","title":{"rendered":"Fitness Testing Program"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"subheading-style-1\">Fitness Testing Available at the Exercise &#038; Sports Science Laboratory<\/div>\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The Exercise &amp; Sport Sciences Laboratory offers fitness assessments for all Queens students, staff, and faculty for <strong>FREE<\/strong> and to community members for <strong>$40.00<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The fitness assessment includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>VO2max (with anaerobic threshold estimation),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>resting metabolic rate,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>total energy expenditure,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>body composition (lean muscle mass distribution), and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>hydration. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This program is operated by Exercise &amp; Sport Science student interns. A brief consultation on results is included.
