Queens Community Participates in Sed Min Day of Service

The Queens motto, "not to be served, but to serve" was lived out on Oct. 15 by nearly 100 faculty, staff and students as part of the inauguration week activities. Giving to others is one of the core principles that are taught at Queens.

Daniel G. Lugo Installed as 21st President

Queens University of Charlotte installed Daniel G. Lugo, J.D., as its 21st president. Lugo, a proven leader in the higher education sector for nearly two decades, joined Queens on July 1.  



Travel 21 Fund

Queens established the Travel 21 Fund, in lieu of an inaugural commemorative item, to honor the inauguration of its 21st president, Daniel G. Lugo, J.D. The fund celebrates the president’s love of travel and his commitment to remove barriers for a student’s global experience. Travel 21 can be used to obtain a first passport, pay for a visa or plan an international study experience.
