Installation Ceremony Venue

The ceremony will be held in Curry Arena in the Levine Center for Wellness and Recreation, located at 2201 Wellesley Avenue, Charlotte, N.C.

Guests with Special Needs

A drop-off point for guests with mobility impairments will be available in the Fine Arts Center lot, located directly in front of the Levine Center. A limited number of parking spots will be available in this lot for those with ADA placards.

An interpreter will be available at the ceremony, and seats will be reserved in close proximity for guests who are hearing impaired. Please note that we do not provide wheelchairs for guests.

To supplement our campus parking, several nearby parking lots will be utilized with shuttles to transport guests to/from the campus. Several parking lots nearby will be utilized for inauguration guest parking. View the parking map for parking locations/GPS addresses.

Doors open to Curry Arena at 9:30 a.m. Shuttles to remote lots will run continuously from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. Please allow plenty of time for parking and transportation to campus.

Consider Alternative Transportation

We strongly encourage carpooling; also, using Uber or Lyft is another great option. The drop-off point for Uber, Lyft, taxis, etc., is Evans Clock Tower. Please allow plenty of time for parking and transportation to campus.

Traveling from out of town for the ceremony? Consider staying at one of our host hotels for discounted rates on your hotel stay.

Campus Tours, History Walk, Bookstore & Coffee Shop

Prior to the inauguration, campus tours and a Queens History Walk will be available. The campus bookstore and coffee shop will also be open.
