Faculty & Staff Diversity Resources
Queens is committed to an academic culture that promotes inclusion, diversity, equity and access to pursue its mission to provide transformative educational experiences that nurture intellectual curiosity, promote global understanding, encourage ethical living, and prepare individuals for purposeful and fulfilling lives. A fluid view of diversity recognizes that human identities and qualities such as age, race, sex, religion, sexual orientation, sexual identity, heritage, national origin, class, language and ability influence ones' world view, life choices and interpersonal relations. Our commitment to thriving in a changing world challenges us to develop cultural humility and find common ground with those unlike ourselves.

Diversity, equity and inclusion council
The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Council fully supports Queens' Strategic Initiative focused on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Elevating diversity, equity, and inclusion to the level of a strategic imperative, impacting all aspects of the university, is a crucial first step to become the Queens we strive be. The Council further acknowledges the need to be intentional in the incorporation of all three elements of diversity, equity, and inclusion to achieve our goals.
