It’s YOUR year! Reunion 2024 will take place at Queens the weekend of April 12-13, 2024. We look forward to welcoming back classes ending in 4s and 9s for milestone reunions.

Schedule

Check-In & Reunion Headquarters
2:00-6:30 p.m. | Queens Hall
Welcome back! Your first stop upon arriving to campus is the check-in desk to pick up your packet of information, nametag and updated swag. Also, stop by for information on self-guided tours and any questions you have.

Campus Tour
4:00 p.m. | Departs from & concludes at Diana Fountain
Don’t miss this chance to see your favorite spots and the newest buildings through the eyes of a current Royal. Campus maps will be available at the registration table for those who wish to tour the campus at their leisure. Tours will last approximately 50 minutes.

MFA New Work Open Mic
4:00-5:30 p.m. | Ketner Auditorium
Listen to new works from alumni of Queens’ Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing. Works may include fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and writing for stage and screen.

Student Organization Open House
5:00-6:00 p.m. | Diana Courtyard
Visit with current students and learn about the activities of different organizations on campus today. From Greek organizations to Student Government and Campus Union Board, meet today’s leaders!

1900 Selwyn Mixer
6:00-8:00 p.m. | Hall Brown Terrace & Residential Quad
At this casual welcome event for all classes, catch up with your classmates on the first evening of Reunion. As you enjoy heavy hors d’oeuvres and drinks, you can flip through your yearbooks, visit with members of Queens’ faculty, and enjoy music from all the years represented at reunion!
*The bar will turn into a cash bar at 8:00 p.m.

Class Photos
6:30-7:30 p.m. | Queens Hall Lawn
Classes from the 1980s-2010s will gather for their class photos before heading off to the mixer.

Campus Ghost Tour
8:00 p.m. | Clock Tower
Visit your favorite spooks and stories with an interactive app designed by campus faculty members. You are welcome to tour on your own or go in small groups. Meet at the clock tower to join a group and meet the faculty behind this fun tour.

Grab a coffee and a bite to eat before heading to our alumni chapel service.

Join us for a morning message and time of worship. Queens University Chaplain, Adrian Bird, will lead the service, Rev. Stephen Baldwin ’04 will give the homily, and we will take time to remember classmates who have passed away.

Alumni Luncheon
12:00-1:30 p.m. | Young Dining Hall
Celebrate friendships, campus memories, and successes since graduation. David Patterson ’94, president of the Alumni Association Board, will present the winners of this year’s alumni awards. We will also celebrate Jeff Brown MBA ’03 as he completes his service as chair of the Board of Trustees, during a conversation with President Lugo.

Women’s Lacrosse vs. Coastal Carolina
12:00 p.m. | Queens Sports Complex & Conference Center
Watch our Royals take on the Chanticleers in their second year of Division I competition. Queens Athletics now competes in the ASUN Conference and this game celebrates the program’s Senior Day. Tickets

Classes from the 1950s-1980s will gather for their class photos before heading off to their class meetings.

Royal Conversations
1:30-2:15 p.m. | Greenhoot Recital Hall
Connect with current Royals and hear from alumni excelling in their field as they share their experiences during this panel discussion where students will engage with alumni panelists to learn more about life after their time on campus. Students will have the chance to ask questions during the Q&A session.

Class Meetings
2:00-3:00 p.m. | Various classroom locations
Check your registration packet to see if your class will be gathering for a class meeting! Specific class meeting locations will be available in your welcome packet.

Take some time to live out our motto with a service project supporting an organization founded in part by Caroline Love Myers ’55, Crisis Assistance Ministry. Grab a friend and stop by to write a note to brighten someone’s day and fill a snack bag for the visitors of Crisis Assistance.

Expanding your Knowledge
3:00-3:45 p.m. | McEwen 101
Gift planning opportunities related to bequests, IRA rollovers, and other financial tools can serve as desirable and advantageous options when managing finances and resources for the future. Join Lesley Bynum Swartz ’87 for a discussion around planned giving strategies that may not only benefit your philanthropic goals but also prove to be a meaningful way to support the individuals and organizations that are most important to you.

3:45-4:30 p.m. | McEwen 115
Do you have a child about to begin their college search? Join a member of our admission’s team and Jasmyn Lindsey ’16, Director of Financial Aid, who will walk you through the admissions process today, sharing valuable information to avoid the sticker shock, and guide your student to finding the right school.

Arete Wine and Cheese
4:00 p.m. | Sykes 334
Arete Society is a designation for all alumni who have celebrated their 50th Reunion. Members of the Arete Society will welcome the newest class during this gathering and learn more about the class of 1974.

Milestone Reunion Celebrations

Keep the party going at these special gatherings. This is a time to continue conversations started earlier in the day, to cheers to the successes and accomplishments of your peers throughout the years, and to enjoy being together on this final eve of Reunion Weekend.
