TWIST Conference for Women 2020
RESILIENCE: Bounce Back. Step Up. Move On.
9th Annual TWIST Conference
Monday-Wednesday, February 10-12, 2020
Let’s face it, some days are better than others. In business and everyday life, navigating skills are critical. Resilience is a key element to develop and fine-tune on your journey. The landscape of leadership is ever changing and ever challenging, especially for women.
What makes a resilient leader? She is an actualized leader who is aware of the strength that lies within and takes steps to unlock her very best work. She is aware of her shadow, which can undermine her best intentions when under stress. Resilience and self-actualization improve decision making and communication; strengthen relationships and deliver results.
The TWIST Conference for Women in Leadership will help you chart your course by providing actionable ideas from our team of experts and speakers. You will have an opportunity to develop and sharpen skills to enhance your personal life and contribute to your organization's success.
TWIST is a unique experience. It is an immersive conference that brings an interesting and diverse group of high potential women leaders together with superb faculty members from the Queens McColl School of Business. Every detail of the three-day conference is planned to create one powerful experience of self-discovery, building a close and supportive network and important dialogue on leadership.
Leadership is not about having the right answers. It is about asking the right questions—including the uncomfortable ones. TWIST is an opportunity to connect with a rich and dynamic network of women leaders to gain confidence and self-awareness. Suspend daily responsibilities and disconnect while staying at the Ballantyne Lodge. TWIST provides continued opportunities for women to connect after the conference.
You’ll be among a select group of 40 diverse and interesting women from across the country. We will engage in lively dialogue with our guest speakers and faculty members to explore what it means to be a female leader.
$5,000 tuition per person is all-inclusive, excluding travel. The package includes accommodations for two nights at the Lodge, all meals, books by conference authors and conference materials.
The Lodge at Ballantyne Hotel (Charlotte, NC).
