What You’ll Study

Have you ever wondered how being a part of communities or regions of the world affects people’s individual experiences? Studying sociology at Queens will help you discover the complexities of human society, culture, and behavior. As a sociology major, you will learn to question assumptions, evaluate evidence and data, and develop evidence-based arguments. With this major, there’s enough room in your academic journey to take on another major, minor, or a set of classes that help you prepare for your next steps in life.
