QUnited Portal

QUnited 2026

QUnited 2026 kicks off Thursday, February 5 and runs through Thursday, February 19. All gifts received between these dates, midnight to midnight, count toward the $500,000 goal. While gifts can be designated to any area of campus, the Queens Fund and Royals Club address the greatest needs of the university, ensuring we can remain flexible, reduce barriers to education, and provide every student with tools and experiences that help them thrive.

You can expect challenges and matches to increase the impact of your gift, opportunities to temporarily name some of your favorite parts of campus, social media giveaways, and more!

Help with QUnited

If you’re a Royal through and through, we encourage you to sign up as a QUnited Advocate! Advocates are critical to the success of our Giving Day. All you have to do is help spread the word. For some advocates, that looks like sharing on social media. For others, it’s calls and texts. We can provide you with a contact list, and below you’ll find our Advocate Toolkit to help you create your posts. Sign up today!

Make your donation at queens.edu/qunited between February 5 and February 19.
Sign up to be an Advocate.
Send your unique link to your peers via email and social media. You’ll receive this link via email after completing the Advocate form.
Offer matches or challenges to encourage your friends and classmates to give.

Advocate Social Media Toolkit

We encourage you to use photos of yourself at Queens, in Queens gear, with college friends, or professors from Queens. You can also use our pre-made graphics, which are found below. We’re also providing you with example social posts and a guide to using Instagram stories.

Hashtag – #QUnited

Please use #QUnited in all social media posts related to QUnited.
Hashtags are searchable and allow you to connect with others. Our team can pull related posts for reporting or contests.
Use your unique link from the giving portal. The link makes it easy to track the number of gifts you generate.
When posting to Instagram, change the link in your profile to direct users to the QUnited gift form using your unique advocate link and add “Link in bio” to the posts.

Using Instagram Stories

Open Instagram and tap the “+” icon in the bottom right of your profile photo at the top of your screen.
Choose a photo from your camera roll or take a new one using the camera. (Hint: Use the premade graphics linked above as your base image.)
Once you’ve selected your content, tap “Your Story” (bottom left) to post it instantly or “Close Friends” if you want a limited audience.

After selecting or taking a photo/video, tap the “Aa” text icon at the top.
Type your message.
Customize the text by changing:
- Font (select from various styles at the top)
- Color (tap the color palette)
- Background (tap the “A” with a glow for a highlight effect)
Drag the text to position it where you want, drag two opposite corners to change the size.
Tap “Done” when finished.
Be sure to tag @queensalumniengagement!

Tap the sticker icon (square smiley face at the top).
Select the “Link” sticker.
Enter your URL.
Tap “Done“, then position the sticker wherever you like.
(Optional) Resize or change the sticker’s look by tapping it.

That’s it! Your story is ready to share. You can add other features like stickers or music.
