The Master of Science in Finance & Analytics – where finance, analytics, and storytelling meet.

Queens is the first university in North Carolina to offer the Master of Science in Finance & Analytics, designed to prepare you for careers of the future. You will improve those specific skills in finance and data analytics needed to meet market demand in the finance industry.

Queens plays a critical role in developing leaders within Charlotte. As such, our faculty collaborated with top local industry leaders, such as Accenture, Ally Financial, and Bank of America, to develop this specific graduate program for leaders who want to blend analytics with finance to ensure companies make better business decisions. We partner with these same industry leaders, giving you access to the top business and analytical minds of the region. Find mentors in Charlotte industry leaders. Practice your skills through executive-in-residence programs. Expand your network through our guest lecture series. We can’t wait for you to get started.

The MSFA program is a designated STEM program, allowing international students to apply for a 24-month STEM extension of OPT.

Cost per credit: $1,450 

Flexible Program: Online and hybrid 

Two in-person residencies 

Experiential Learning – you will take part in an integrative team project that allows you to demonstrate an understanding of the core competencies taught throughout the program and apply them to an industry project in the financial services industry

You will be able to analyze data sets, using financial theory, and analytical methods to address complex financial problems. 

You will be prepared to excel in a variety of industries including, but not limited to, the following:
