Weddings at Queens
At Queens, we offer a setting defined by timeless elegance. Located in the heart of Charlotte, our historic campus combines distinguished architecture and gracious spaces to create an unforgettable backdrop. From engagement photos to the first look and final toast, our team is dedicated to ensuring your day unfolds with ease.
Ceremony and Reception Spaces
Celebrate your special day surrounded by timeless charm and thoughtful details. Our wedding ceremony offerings provide convenient time options and beautifully prepared venues to ensure your day is seamless from start to finish.
Wedding ceremonies can be booked at the following times:
- Friday Evenings | 4-8 p.m.
- With a ceremony start time after 5 p.m.
- Saturdays | 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. or 4-8 p.m.
- Sundays | 4-8 p.m.
All spaces include:
- For ceremonies
- One-hour rehearsal on the Friday before the wedding
- Wedding party dressing areas
- For ceremonies and receptions
- Audio System and Microphones
- On-site event manager to ensure the space is ready, with additional wedding coordination services available for an additional fee
- Campus Parking
- Housekeeping

Belk Chapel – Sanctuary & McInnes Rotunda
Host to thousands of weddings since its opening in 1950, Belk Chapel is a classically Southern space for your special ceremony with beautiful natural light. The airy rotunda is a great place to greet your guests from Radcliffe Avenue and can serve as a pre-ceremony space for either or both bride and groom parties. The Chapel is a non-denominational space, so all religious backgrounds are welcome!
– Seating for up to 350 guests
– Use of piano included, but cannot be removed
Queens Hall – McInnes Parlors & Hall Brown Terrace
For more than 100 years, McInnes Parlors have welcomed guests to Queens in the heart of Queens Hall. The Parlors are great for gatherings such as cocktail receptions and holiday parties. Guests can enjoy a stunning view of campus from the Hall Brown Terrace, an outdoor extension of the McInnes Parlors. The parlors can accommodate up to 100 guests and, weather permitting, the terrace extends the accommodation to 200. VIP parking is available for 15 guests.

Levine Center for Wellness and Recreation – Claudia Belk Room
With its modern aesthetic and inviting ambiance, the Claudia Belk Room provides a stunning backdrop for wedding events. The space features flexible seating arrangements, ideal for both intimate gatherings and lively receptions. Its contemporary design, warm lighting, and refined atmosphere create a memorable setting where guests can dine, dance, and celebrate in style.
– Seating for up to 150 guests
– Projector and audio speaker use included
Outdoor Spaces
Enjoy the beauty of the outdoors with our selection of locations across campus. Each space offers charm and convenience, ideal for ceremonies, receptions, or social gatherings. With lush surroundings and plenty of natural light, these venues provide a refreshing backdrop for any celebration.

Young Dining Hall
Available exclusively from May through August, the Young Dining Hall provides a spacious and versatile setting for your event. Whether you envision an elegant banquet or a simple, intimate gathering, this flexible space can be tailored to bring your vision to life.
– Seating for up to 230 guests

All catering is exclusively provided by our in-house partner, Carved & Crafted. Explore their menu and pricing on their website, and reach out directly to plan the perfect experience for your wedding.
