Reserved Parking
Reserved Parking
If you are having a guest(s) on campus, we have two parking lots where you are able to reserve a parking space(s), and they are Queens Circle or the Withers House lot. During normal business hours, we can only accommodate reservations for individual requests or groups smaller than 5. Please complete the Reserved Parking Request form at least 72 hours in advance to submit a request for a reserved space.
There are no other locations on campus available for parking reservations.
Students are not allowed to request reserved parking spaces. If a group/club/organization would like to reserve a space, their Faculty Advisor will be responsible for that request.
Reserved Parking Locations
Requests for Queens Circle
The Queens Circle lot is for Reserved Guests at all times, including evenings and weekends.
This lot is for individual guests or a group of up to 5 members; any number larger than that will be sent to the North Deck or the Soccer Lot.
Requests for Withers House Lot
The Withers House lot is a Commuter parking lot. There is a limited number of reserved spaces in that lot, and the students take precedence.
This lot is for individual guests or a group of up to 5 members; any number larger than that will be sent to the North Deck or the Soccer Lot.
Vehicle Groups Larger Than Six
While groups larger than 6 guests do not meet the requirement for a reserved space, here are the guidelines for large group parking:
- Requests for groups larger than 6 vehicles at one time but less than 50, please contact parking@queens.edu to discuss the date and time of your event so that the parking coordinator can assist you with determining the best option. We can provide either PDFs that can be sent via email to your guests for parking in surface lots, or we can provide a punch code for the North Deck to allow them to enter.
- Requests for groups larger than 51 vehicles, please contact parking@queens.edu to discuss the date and time of your event. If there is parking available on that date, the North Deck will be open for your event, and the officers will not write tickets during that time.
If you feel that your event requires a parking lot to be completely blocked off to ensure availability, you will need to contact parking@queens.edu to discuss this event at least 3 weeks in advance, as there is a charge involved in having someone monitor the lot, and the Chief of Police has to assign someone to take care of this.
Guest Day Parking Pass
For those employees who may want to have a visitor join them on campus but do not require a reserved space, you will need to come to Campus Police, located in Watkins Hall, to obtain a temporary parking pass for the day, and they will be required to park in the Soccer Lot while they are on campus.
Parking Areas for Commuters
All surface lots (Withers, Harris, Evans Clocktower, and Gambrell) and street parking (Radcliffe, Selwyn, and Wellesley) are dedicated to our Commuter students, who have paid to park there.
Please note that while the Admissions team does have reserved parking spaces in the Harris Lot, those are exclusively theirs to use, and when not in use by the Admissions team, they revert back to being strictly for our Commuter students.
