Applying to Queens

Once you've checked out all that Queens offers and are ready to apply for admission the process is simple. You can fill out the application form in print or online.

The Traditional Undergraduate Program offers curriculum and services designed for the 18-22 year old student. Most traditional undergraduates live in residence halls and are enrolled full-time.  A full range of student life activities and student services are available to students in this program, including the Core Program in the Liberal Arts, the John Belk International Program, the Honors Program, and PreProfessional Programs.

Graduating high school seniors and transfers students under the age of 23 seeking an undergraduate degree should apply to the admissions office for traditional undergraduate programs.

If you apply online we will waive the application fee.  If you send us the hard copy of the application form, we require that you provide us with a non-refundable, $40 application fee.  In addition to the application form please submit the following:

  • Official copy of your high school transcript
  • Official SAT or ACT scores:
    • Queens' SAT code is 5560
    • Queens' ACT code is 3148
Please note:  If you take the ACT you must take the writing portion of the test.  Students not taking the writing section of the ACT will be required to submit a writing sample to complete their application to Queens.
There is no fixed deadline for application — we operate on a rolling admissions basis. But you should be aware of the following:
  • Applications submitted by Dec. 1 receive priority in scholarship funding.
  • We recommend that you apply no later than March 1.
  • Applications that we receive after March 1 will be accepted as space is available.
