The Ministrare Society
The Ministrare Society
The Ministrare Leadership Society honors the extraordinary generosity of individuals, families, foundations, and organizations whose cumulative giving to Queens University of Charlotte totals $1 million or more. Named for the Latin word ministrare, meaning “to serve,” this society reflects the highest level of philanthropic leadership and commitment to Queens’ mission. Members of the Ministrare Leadership Society have made transformational investments that shape the university’s future, support generations of students, and embody the values of service, leadership, and lifelong impact.
Programs, physical spaces, and scholarships foundational to the Queens experience, supported or established by members, include:
- The John Belk International Program – Provides support to ensure students, regardless of circumstance, have the opportunity to go on an immersive global adventure.
- The Charlotte Talent Initiative – A cohort-based career pipeline program for local students.
- The Stan Greenspon Holocaust Education Center – A hub for education and social change.

“I truly believe that at Queens, you get out of it what you put in, so thank you for everything that you have put towards our school and students. I hope that when you walk around campus, you can see your generosity reflected in the helping hands of our Queens community.”
