Greetings from Queens! We are so excited to have you join us this weekend and welcome you to our community. We hope that you enjoy your time with your Royal and get the chance to experience life here on campus and in the Queen City.

Registration

Family & Friends Weekend is free for our Royal Family, but we do ask that you register for the weekend. This provides us with a count for attendance and other needed information, such as if you are purchasing meals.

Meal Options:

  • All-you-can-eat breakfast – $10
  • All-you-can-eat lunch or one of our dining stations – $12
  • All-you-can-eat dinner or one of our dining stations – $14

T-shirts will be available for sale throughout the weekend.

Entrepreneurship Showcase
Hosted by Queens University Entrepreneur Club
This gathering for networking, inspiration, and collaboration showcases the diverse and transformative power of entrepreneurship of our Queens students. Items will be available for purchase.

Hosted by the Vandiver Career Center
Parents and families play a vital role in a student’s career development. Stop by Vandiver Center for Career Development for a cup of coffee and to meet the staff focused on preparing your student for incredible professional futures.

Fall Crafting and Goodies with the International Center

Fall is in the air. Experience the colors and crisp atmosphere at our annual fall festival which promises to have lots of fun, great experiences, and building memories.

Family Check-In
Hosted by Student Engagement
Members of Student Engagement will be available to answer questions, hand out meal tickets if you purchased meals from the dining hall, and sell $5 Family Weekend t-shirts – while supplies last.

Men & Women’s Swim Meet vs. University of South Carolina

You can cheer on our champion level swim teams as they compete against the University of South Carolina.

Join the Black Student Union for a delightful family cookout filled with mouthwatering food and fun in the sun! This is an incredible way to build cherished moments together.

Ghost Stories

Queens is full of haunted lore and ghost stories. Please join us for this spooky tour of our buildings with student guides and faculty/staff story tellers. The movie Halloween Town will also be showing on the Residential Quad.

Desayuno
Hosted by DICE, Student Engagement and the Vice President of Student Life
We want Queens families and students to come together for breakfast so we can get to know each other a little better. During this event, there will be opportunity to participate in conversation in Spanish to learn more about Queens.

African Drum Circle
Hosted by DICE (Diversity, Inclusion and Community Engagement)
An African drum circle is a vibrant gathering where participants come together to create mesmerizing beats using traditional African drums and percussion instruments. This community, musical experience not only celebrates the rich cultural heritage of Africa but also fosters a deep sense of unity among those involved.

Parking

All guests will park in the North Parking Deck. Entrance is located off of Wellesley Avenue. Parking is free for all Family Weekend guest.

Breakfast: 7:30-10:00 a.m.
Lunch: 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Dinner: 5:00-6:30 p.m.

Mecklenburger (Custom burgers, chicken sandwiches, quesadillas, and more)

4:00-9:00 p.m.

Coffee House

Friday: 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Saturday: 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Sunday: 4:00-10:00 p.m.

Queens Campus Store

Be sure to stop by the university campus store in the Levine Center to pick up some Queens swag!
