2024 Queens University of Charlotte Commencement Ceremony
Saturday, May 4, 2024 at 9 a.m.
Hall Brown Terrace located behind Queens Hall
All students who have completed the academic requirements for their degree program are expected to participate in the commencement ceremony. Any graduate unable to attend the commencement ceremony must notify the Registrar’s Office as soon as possible.
The seating area for guests opens at 7:30 a.m. and is first come, first serve, but there should be ample seating for all who choose to attend the ceremony. No pets are allowed.
The ceremony is likely to last approximately 2 hours.
Schedule of Events
Our events schedule is updated regularly to keep students, faculty, staff, and guests up-to-date about all the commencement happenings. Please check back often for any new additions or changes.
Livestream
For family and friends who cannot make it, please have them join us virtually! The ceremony will be broadcast live via YouTube on the day of the event.
In Case of Rain
The ceremony will be held outdoors, rain or shine, unless there is severe inclement weather. In case of sudden rain or lightning, students will seek shelter in Trexler Student Center. All guests will seek shelter in Everett Library, Belk Chapel, and the Levine Center for Wellness and Recreation.
If weather conditions do not permit an outdoor ceremony, commencement will be held in the Levine Center for Wellness & Recreation. Due to the significant reduction in seats available, tickets will be required for guests. Two rain tickets will be given to each graduate from their Dean’s office in mid-April. The ceremony will be broadcast live via YouTube to watch from home. If you decide to join us on campus without a rain ticket, Queens will provide overflow seating with a closed-circuit video feed of the ceremony.
