Summer is here! Are you a Royal looking to stay on campus over the summer? Look no further, all the information you need is right here.

Summer Housing Requirements

Students are eligible for summer housing if:

  • They are enrolled in summer courses
  • They are a degree-seeking, traditional undergraduate student for the upcoming fall
  • They are in current good standing with Student Financial Services

Important Dates

April 10 at 10 a.m. – Summer Housing Application OPENS
May 4 at 10 a.m. – Summer Housing Application CLOSES
May 6-15 – May Move-Over
May 16 at 10 a.m. – Summer Move-In
August 1 at 10 a.m. – Summer Move-Out
August 2-28 – August Move-Over

Summer Housing Room Rates

Single Room: $2,060

Occupancy: One student will occupy an entire room for the entire summer.

Double Room: $1,120

Occupancy: Two students will occupy the same room for the entire summer.

Please note: These spaces are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis. If these spaces become full, you will default to Single Room Occupancy.

Summer Pricing Packages

Your package selection is subject to Summer Housing and Move Over approvals. Please read over the selections carefully.

Package A: Summer Housing ONLY

  • Single Room: $2,060
  • Double Room: $1,120

Package B: May Move Over and Summer Housing

  • Single Room: $2,130
  • Double Room: $1,190

Package C: May Move Over, Summer Housing, and August Move Over

  • Single Room: $2,350
  • Double Room: $1,410

Space availability is also a determining factor in whether students are approved to stay in summer housing. We encourage students to have an alternative living plan in case Residence Life & Housing cannot accommodate you on campus.

  1. Complete the Summer Housing Application form & sign the Summer Housing Contract in the Self-Service Portal.
  2. Application OPENS April 10 @ 10 a.m. & CLOSES May 4 @ 10 a.m.

You will need to select your Summer Housing Package. Please read your options carefully, as you will not be able to change your package after selection:

Package A: Summer Housing ONLY

For non-students who do not currently live on campus and will not attend in the Fall 2026.

    • Single Room: $2,060
    • Double Room: $1,120

Package B: May Move Over and Summer Housing

For students who have graduated and are not returning for Fall 2026.

    • Single Room: $2,130
    • Double Room: $1,190

Package C: May Move Over, Summer Housing, and August Move Over

For students who are currently enrolled at Queens and will return for Fall 2026.

    • Single Room: $2,350
    • Double Room: $1,410

    • Students will be randomly assigned to their summer residence hall room by Residence Life & Housing and will receive a confirmation via email of their assigned suite.
    • Summer students are not eligible to select their residence hall or suite and will be placed by Residence Life & Housing. When possible, Residence Life will try to match a student’s fall and summer housing assignment.
    • If Residence Life & Housing is unable to accommodate you in Summer Housing, you will also be notified by this time.
