At Queens, we pride ourselves on providing an engaging and supportive college experience, which demands a safe and healthy student environment. To that end, we require all incoming students to complete a variety of safety programs through online modules through Safe Colleges by Vector Solutions. These video-based programs will provide critical information about Alcohol and Drug Use, Hazing Prevention, Consent, Bystander Intervention, Sexual Assault, Dating and Domestic Violence, Stalking, and help you better understand how vitally important these issues are and what you can do to help make yourself and your campus safer. You are required to complete the program by Monday, September 1, 2025.

Students required to take this training received an email to your Queens email with more detailed instructions on how to access the training. Failure to complete this training means you are in violation of the Queens Honor Code, and you will be referred to the Queens University judicial system for a disciplinary hearing. Please help us avoid doing so by fully participating to help keep our campus safe.

Let’s make sure you start off your Queens experience and first year on a great note! If you have any questions, issues accessing the training module, or to discuss training alternatives, please reach out to studentlife@queens.edu.

Consider these suggestions when deciding what to pack for your move to campus. Your residence hall room already includes a bed, desk, desk chair, dresser or wardrobe, and a mini fridge with microwave.
