Queens Hunger Challenge
2025 NC Collegiate Hunger Challenge
Queens University is taking part in the 2025 NC Collegiate Hunger Challenge during the fall semester. This is part of the campus-wide focus on food insecurity during the semester. The Hunger Challenge allows us to continue our efforts in raising awareness of issues surrounding food insecurity on our campus and in the wider community.

This year’s Hunger Ambassador is Mya Chavis. Mya is a senior majoring in Health Communication with a minor in Psychology. One thing she is looking forward to in this hunger challenge is spreading awareness about food insecurity on campus while creating fun events that will allow students to engage and spread awareness as well!
Supporting Mya is the Hunger Challenge mentor, Olivia Codjie, and Chaplain Adrian Bird. Olivia is a junior double-majoring in Psychology and Data Analytics with university honors. Olivia is looking forward to supporting our hunger challenge ambassador with creating events and programming that will strengthen awareness about collegiate food insecurity!
Keep up with this year’s hunger challenge, or learn how you may participate in this semester’s events!
