Queens University provides many opportunities for growth to its students. Students get exposed to various beliefs, backgrounds, and perspectives while on campus. The campus may be small, but it has a wide range of backgrounds. The amount of diversity on campus makes Queens a great place for young Jewish adults to explore what Judaism and being Jewish mean to them.

They can also mold their Hillel experience to be unique to them because the size of the campus allows us to be more flexible in responding to students’ interests.

Who We Are

Queens Hillel is a welcoming, inclusive community where students celebrate Jewish life, explore their identity, lead with purpose, and grow together. We’re dedicated to attracting Jewish students to our university by offering meaningful and diverse experiences that foster personal growth through active engagement with Judaism and the Jewish community.

What We Do

Our events are joyful, meaningful, and student-led—designed to reflect the diversity of Jewish life and tradition:

Students serving Matzah Ball Soup at Chanukah

“Queens Hillel has given me a space to explore my Jewish identity and to connect with others in the Queens community while exploring Jewish culture and tradition. There is a space for everyone at Queens Hillel, and I am grateful to have the opportunity to engage with Queens and the greater Charlotte Jewish community.” – Ian Hirsch
