Queens Hunger Challenge
2026 NC Collegiate Hunger Challenge
Queens University is taking part in the 2026 NC Collegiate Hunger Challenge during the fall semester. This is part of the campus-wide focus on food insecurity during the semester. The Hunger Challenge allows us to continue our efforts in raising awareness of issues surrounding food insecurity on our campus and in the wider community.

This year’s Hunger Ambassador is Jasmin Calo.
Hi my name is Jasmin Calo! I am a sophomore majoring in Political Science with a minor in Legal Studies. I’m excited to serve as Queens’ Hunger Ambassador and get more students involved in the Hunger Challenge! I’m most looking forward to helping people learn about this initiative, support our efforts, and discover ways we can work together to address food insecurity in our community.
Supporting Jasmin is the Hunger Challenge mentor, Olivia Codjie, who is a senior double-majoring in Psychology and Data Analytics with university honors. Olivia is looking forward to supporting our hunger challenge ambassador with creating events and programming that will strengthen awareness about collegiate food insecurity!
Keep up with this year’s hunger challenge, or learn how you may participate in this semester’s events!
