Welcome to the Web site for the Presbyterian School of Nursing at Queens University of Charlotte! Thank you for your interest in our programs!
The School of Nursing provides students with options of nursing programs that collectively offer a unique opportunity for seamless progression in nursing education. Formed from the combination of two programs of nursing when Queens University of Charlotte obtained the former Presbyterian Hospital School of Nursing in 2004, each having its own distinct history and tradition, we now strive to uphold the best of both traditions.
The School of Nursing offers pre-licensure programs leading to the associate degree or the bachelor’s degree in nursing, and post-licensure programs including the master’s degree in nursing, the RN-to-BSN tract and the RN-to-MSN tract.
Our full-time teaching faculty is comprised of 20 of the finest nurses it has been my privilege to work with over the years. We are deeply dedicated to nurturing and propelling our students toward excellence in nursing practice. Our pre-licensure programs are practice intensive and feature exciting and meaningful opportunities for student learning through our close partnerships with Presbyterian Hospital and other regional institutions.
The mission of Queens University of Charlotte is to prepare students to lead noble lives, to have productive careers, and to be global citizens. The School of Nursing enthusiastically shares in this mission within the context of the nursing profession, in which our students have myriad opportunities to grow personally and professionally, to make important contributions to society, and to be stronger and more responsible citizens of the world.
