For family and friends that cannot make it, please have them join us virtually! The ceremony will be broadcast live via YouTube on the day of the event.

In Case of Rain

The ceremony will be held outdoors, rain or shine, unless there is severe inclement weather. In case of sudden rain or lightning, students will seek shelter in Trexler Student Center. All guests will seek shelter in Everett Library, Belk Chapel, and the Levine Center for Wellness and Recreation.

Commencement audience and stage

If weather conditions do not permit an outdoor ceremony, commencement will be held in the Levine Center for Wellness & Recreation. Due to the significant reduction in seats available, tickets will be required for guests. Two rain tickets will be given to each graduate from their Dean’s office in mid-April. The ceremony will be broadcast live via YouTube to watch from home. If you decide to join us on campus without a rain ticket, Queens will provide overflow seating with a closed-circuit video feed of the ceremony.

Tobacco-Free Campus

Queens University of Charlotte is committed to providing its students, faculty, staff, vendors, contractors, and visitors with a safe and healthy working and learning environment and recognizes that the use of tobacco products on campus grounds is detrimental to the health and safety of students, staff, faculty, and visitors. Please review our Tobacco-Free Campus policy for more details.
