The Office of Student Engagement is at the heart of campus life, dedicated to fostering a college experience that’s vibrant, inclusive, and memorable for every student. Students can dive into organizations that align with their passions, engage in leadership workshops, and participate in celebrated campus traditions like Welcome Week, Fall Fest, Boars’ Head and Spring Carnival—some of the most anticipated events each year! The Office of Student Engagement is committed to enriching the student journey, providing spaces to lead, connect, and make lifelong friends along the way.
Student Engagement oversees a variety of areas that cultivate a thriving Queens community:
Club & Organizations: With clubs spanning cultural, academic, recreational, and service interests, students have endless opportunities to dive into their passions and explore new interests alongside peers who share their enthusiasm.

Spring 2025 Move-Out Information – Residence Life & Housing
As the Spring 2025 semester comes to a close, Residence Life & Housing wants to ensure a smooth and efficient move-out process for all residents. Please review the following important move-out deadlines and procedures:
Non-Graduating Residents: Students who are not graduating must move out within 24 hours of their last exam or no later than Wednesday, April 30, by 10:00 AM, whichever comes first.
Graduating Residents: Students participating in commencement may remain in their housing assignment until Sunday, May 4, by 10:00 AM.
To avoid unnecessary charges, all residents must properly check out, return their keys, and leave their space clean and in good condition. Additional move-out instructions, including check-out procedures and key return locations, will be shared as the move-out period approaches.
If you have any questions, please reach out to Residence Life & Housing at reslife@queens.edu.
As Commencement approaches, we want to ensure you and your graduate are prepared for this special day. The ceremony will take place on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at 10 a.m. in Curry Arena, with guest seating opening at 8:30 a.m. Be sure your graduate has claimed their guest tickets and reserved parking in advance. To celebrate this milestone, families will be able to order commemorative yard signs (form coming soon!), and flowers will be available for purchase at the ceremony. We encourage you to review the full schedule of events and arrive early to secure seating.
