Employers interested in conducting on-campus recruiting activities at Queens University of Charlotte must adhere to the Vandiver Center for Career Development’s employer policies and guidelines. Requests for on-campus recruiting activities, such as information sessions, networking events, and interviews should be submitted in advance for approval.

Equal Opportunity & Non-Discrimination

We are committed to providing equal opportunity and maintaining a non-discriminatory environment for all students. Employers participating in on-campus recruiting activities must comply with federal, state, and local employment laws and adhere to our university policies against discrimination based on race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, or any other protected status.

Internship & Job Postings

Employers must provide accurate and detailed internship and job descriptions for posting on the Queens online job board, Handshake. Postings should include essential information such as job title, responsibilities, qualifications, compensation, and application instructions. Employers should promptly inform Vandiver Center staff of any changes or removal of job postings.

Internship & Employment Offers

Employers extending internship or employment offers to students should provide written offers that include relevant details such as position title, compensation, benefits, start date, and any contingencies or conditions. Employers should allow sufficient time to consider offers and make informed decisions without undue pressure.

Feedback & Continuous Improvement

We value employer feedback to enhance the effectiveness of our on-campus recruiting programs.
