Students wishing to major in Music or Music Therapy must first apply for admissions to Queens. Admission to the university does not guarantee acceptance to the Art, Design and Music Department. To be admitted to the Music or Music Therapy program a successful audition must be completed and all audition requirements must be met.
The Music and Music Therapy programs award scholarships to deserving prospective students
based on preparation, musical talent, academic achievement and potential. Scholarships
range up to $10,000 annually.
Queens University of Charlotte offers a wide-range of performance-based scholarships to Music and Music Therapy Majors, Music Minors, and any student interested in performing in ensembles through an audition process. The auditions will occur from December through February prior to enrolling full-time at Queens University of Charlotte. While all students will be considered for scholarship opportunities, preference will be given to those students intending to Major in Music or Music Therapy. In order to maintain an Ensemble Music Scholarship, all Non-Music and Non-Music Therapy Majors must participate in one of the many ensembles each semester based on their auditioning voice part or instrument.
