Tucked away in the quiet, intimate Myers Park neighborhood, Queens University of Charlotte offers as much character as sophistication. Within minutes from Uptown Charlotte, our spaces will offer you and your guests the perfect venue for a successful event. Whether it be holiday parties, corporate meetings, or conferences we have a space to fit your needs.

Classroom Spaces

As we are a university, it is appropriate that we have classroom meeting spaces available for rent. Queens can offer a variety of classroom styles for your smaller group meetings. Ranging in size from 8-44 seats, classrooms are available in traditional modular set-up style or tiered lecture hall style. All classrooms include built-in projectors and computers.

Duke Energy Auditorium

For smaller events, the Duke Energy Auditorium in Rogers Hall is the perfect space. This auditorium seats 96 with a projector and screen capabilities. It’s great for lectures and presentations and has added flexibility with a reception space at the rear of the room.

Sarah Belk Gambrell Center for the Arts and Civic Engagement

The beautiful new Sarah Belk Gambrell Center for the Arts and Civic Engagement opened in 2020. The building is home to the Sandra Levine Theatre, a 996-1,004-seat performance theater, and Kathryn Greenhoot Recital Hall, a 150-seat concert hall. Ketner Auditorium

Ketner Auditorium, located in the Sykes Learning Center, is the premiere lecture space on campus, equipped with an LCD projector and screen. It holds up to 200 people for any type of lecture, film screening, meeting, discussion, or presentation.

Levine Center for Wellness and Recreation

The Levine Center is a three-story, 145,000-square-foot building that provides facilities for student wellness, recreation, and athletics. The Claudia Belk Room, located just off the front entrance, seats up to 150 people. Curry Arena, our volleyball and basketball court, can be adapted into the perfect location for business meetings, seminars, workshops, and conferences.

Queens Hall – McInnes Parlors & Hall Brown Terrace

For more than 100 years, McInnes Parlors have welcomed guests to Queens in the heart of Queens Hall. The Parlors are great for more quaint gatherings such as cocktail receptions and holiday parties. Guests can enjoy a stunning view of campus from the Hall Brown Terrace, an outdoor extension of the McInnes Parlors.

Sports Complex & Conference Center

Located on Tyvola Road between the South Park area and I-77, this facility has a 4,000-square-foot dividable conference room with built-in audio-visual features and several break-out rooms. The Conference Center can seat up to 240-280 (depending on the use of tables) for day meetings or luncheons, and there is ample on-site free parking. Combined with lush grounds and outdoor spaces, the conference center provides a great spot for corporate retreats, conferences, social functions, receptions, and more. Consider a cocktail reception overlooking our turf field, Dickson field, or hold your athletic event on the field, which can host 200 spectators.

Important Items to Note

Since we are a busy university campus, please be aware of the following items:

  • University faculty and staff have priority in reserving our spaces.
  • Parking limitations during the week (Monday – Thursday).
  • Our campus catering is required to be used for events at Queens University.
