Campus Police & Public Safety

Our Campus Police have a 24/7 presence on campus and are located inside Watkins Hall. Queens offers an emergency notification system to notify the campus community of an emergency, incident, inclement weather, or class cancellations. Text, phone, and email messages are sent through QAlert about the status of a given situation, as well as other important details. Health & Wellness Center

Queens has partnered with Atrium Health to offer our students clinical and counseling services, preventive care and health testing, and health promotion and education. For more information, please visit the Health & Wellness Center website.

Health Insurance

Queens University of Charlotte requires that all domestic undergraduate students enrolled in 12 or more credit hours and all F-1/J-1 International students, athletes (and graduate athletes), and BSN and ABSN students to have health insurance coverage. All students are automatically enrolled annually in the Queens University of Charlotte’s Health Insurance Plan (SHIP) and must waive to remove the charges from their account. All eligible students must submit an online waiver by September 20, 2023. For more information, please visit the Student Health Insurance webpage.

Optional Vision & Dental Plans
