Eligibility & How to Apply

Before Queens can discuss your financial aid possibilities, please get a Certificate of Eligibility from the VA. Find out how to apply for the GI Bill and other VA education benefits.

Tuition & Fees

Depending on your Chapter and percentage benefits, you may be eligible for coverage of some or all tuition and fee charges. Please contact Nicole Callahan (callahann@queens.edu, 704-337-2322) for detailed information on the following topics:

Housing Allowance, Book Stipends, etc.

Depending on your Chapter benefits, you may be eligible to receive monthly housing allowances, book stipends, or other benefits. Find out more about eligible benefits.

Enrollment Status

12+ credit hours = Full-time status

9-11 credit hours = 3/4-time status

6-8 credit hours = 1/2-time status

1-5 credit hours = Less than 1/2-time status

6 credit hours = Full-time status

3-6 credit hours = 1/2-time status

1-2 credit hours = Less than 1/2-time status
