The Financial Aid Team responded to the question, “What is your favorite part about working with students during the financial aid process, and what advice would you give to students regarding access to financial aid?” Here are their answers.

Linda Stein
Associate Director, Financial Aid
Answer: Working behind the scenes to ensure students receive the most timely and accurate financial aid offers.
Alex Kozin
Senior Assistant Director, Financial Aid
Focus: Counseling, Graduate students, ABSN students, Verification
Answer: My favorite part of working with students is helping them understand financial aid and costs. My advice to students is to seek external scholarships and apply for as many as they can, and to always ask questions.
Ryan Huguenin

Answer: I enjoy working with students and seeing worry and disappointment become relief and joy when we can help a student afford their education is the best. Don’t be afraid to ask for help!

Answer: Financial aid can be confusing and stressful; that’s why I enjoy breaking down complex information into clear, manageable steps so students understand their options and can make informed decisions about their education. My advice to students is to start early and never assume you’re not eligible for aid!
